Data Deletion
Effective date: August 19, 2026
This page explains how to delete your Biptach account, company, or local data, and what is retained after deletion. It is part of Biptach’s deletion instructions and supports our compliance commitments described in the Privacy Policy.
1. Delete your account
You can delete your account from Settings. Account deletion requires your password and a verification code sent to your email. Deleting your account removes your profile and your access to the service.
2. Delete your company
An owner can request company deletion from Settings. There is a 15-day grace period during which the deletion can be cancelled. After it completes, company data such as customers, work orders, photos, signatures, tax/invoice snapshots, and QuickBooks sync data is removed.
3. Remove a member
An owner can remove a member from the company, which revokes that member’s access to the company’s data.
4. Clear local / offline data
Logging out clears locally cached data stored in your browser (localStorage and IndexedDB).
5. What is retained after deletion
Certain security, deletion, fraud-prevention, or accountability records, such as account-deletion and work-order-deletion records, may be retained after account or company deletion where necessary for security, fraud prevention, accountability, legal obligations, or dispute prevention/resolution. When you disconnect QuickBooks, the connection and its tokens are revoked.
