Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Biptach service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Biptach is a field-service management application for scheduling, dispatching, tracking, and completing HVAC work orders, including the work-order invoice snapshot.

3. Accounts & Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Roles & Company Access

Owners, managers, dispatchers, and technicians have different permissions within the service. Owners control membership and company data.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• misuse the service or use it for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts, or our systems;
• interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure; or
• use the service in a way that violates applicable law.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, including customers, work orders, line items, and tax selections, and for complying with applicable laws in your use of the service.

7. Tax Responsibility

Biptach provides tools to record the tax selections you make (Saved Tax Groups or a Custom Tax) and to freeze them in the work-order snapshot. Biptach does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or compliance advice. You are responsible for determining and applying the correct taxes for your business and jurisdiction.

8. Data & Deletion

You retain rights in the data you submit to Biptach, subject to these Terms, applicable law, and the retention and deletion practices described in our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion page.

9. Third-Party Integrations

The service integrates with QuickBooks/Intuit (optional, owner-enabled), Mapbox, Resend, and Supabase. Your use of those services is subject to their terms. Biptach is not responsible for the operation of third-party services.

10. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be unavailable for maintenance or due to factors outside our control.

11. Intellectual Property

Biptach and its content are owned by Biptach. You retain rights to the data you enter into the service.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Biptach is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Biptach against claims arising from your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page.
